Basic Traffic
 

Does your agency or company investigate traffic collisions? Do you need to determine if the collision is an accident or fraud? There are no reasons to fear traffic related investigations anymore.

The Global Training Institute's traffic schools are designed to teach you how to investigate a crash based on the evidence at the scene even though parties involved maintain conflicting statements.

Timely preservation of evidence and proper collection and documentation of that evidence is crucial in investigating traffic related offenses. You will learn how to prioritize a traffic investigation to minimize the loss of evidence and most importantly, save you time.

 During this four day course, you will learn how to (determine/investigate):
* Primary Collision Factors
* Skid Analysis
* Basic Speed Analysis and Calculations
* Collision Scene Measuring and Diagramming
* Evidence Collection, Documentation and Interpretation

 



Intermediate Traffic
 

When you have completed basic accident training and want to increase your expertise, then you need to attend the Intermediate Traffic Investigations Course.

This class was designed by career traffic enforcement offices who are experts in their field and are members of a Regional Major Accident Enforcement Teams. You will receive the experience of instructors who have investigating thousands of collisions.

Global Training Institute's method of instruction is a mixture of lecture, PowerPoint, video and a strong emphasis on class participation, interaction and practical exercises. There are daily exercises and practical exercises to test your abilities and learn from actually performing the job in a controlled environment.

During this four-day class, you will learn more advanced techniques about how to (determine/investigate):

Skid Analysis
Speed Analysis & Calculations
Scene Measurements and Diagramming
Evidence Collection, Documentation and Interpretation
Vaults, Launches and Flips

 



Advanced Traffic Investigations
 

Prerequisite:
* Successful Completion of Global Training Institute's Intermediate Accident Investigations Course
* Recommendation from the Student's Supervisor
* Recommendation from the Instructor of the Intermediate Course

Are you ready for the ultimate in traffic training? With this last in a series of traffic investigation courses, you will have met the requirements for a Global Training Institute certification as an expert in traffic investigations and reconstruction.

You will work hard during a two-week school, submersed in advanced mathematics and the laws of physics. This is not a beginner's course and attendees are required to have successfully completed GTI's basic and intermediate courses (or a certified equivalent).

* Conservation of Momentum
* Advanced Speed Analysis and Calculations
