Basic CSI

All too often, sloppy crime scene investigations can bring doubt to a case's prosecution and ruin the chances for a conviction.

This course is designed for the field officer and newly appointed crime scene investigator. After completing this course, we guarantee that you will be locating and documenting evidence in a manner that will bring professionalism to your case and impress the jury.

Television shows have put pressure on local law enforcement to produce crime scene investigations and evidence like never before. Obviously, the TV shows are fake and untimely, but the ability to get evidence using the techniques you will be taught are not fake at all.

You will be collecting evidence you never even noticed before. You will be able to document and testify to your evidence collection with a new found confidence.

You will learn (how to):
* Safety at Crime Scenes
* Securing the Crime Scene
* Crime Scene Log
* Keeping out the brass
* Dealing with the Media
* Identifying Evidence
* Crime Scene Photography
* Latent Fingerprint Processing
* Elimination Prints
* Presentation of Crime Scene
* Testifying in Court
