This course is the key to opening the door to a thriving organization. The experience of our Leadership Instructors has brought them success in multiple organizations and divisions. Life and death decisions are often left only to the most seriously qualified personnel whose leadership can be trusted in the battlegrounds of military and civilian life. This is the experience of your instructors and basis for this training.
Assertive Supervision requires action. Committee decision making and hesitation often lead to dangerous situations. We will explorer the assertive decision making process and how to deal with difficult employees. Disciplinary action is never pleasant, but it is inevitable. We will teach you how to prepare a counseling session, a Performance Improvement Plan and how to work within the labor laws.
Ethical decisions are often the most difficult aspect of leadership, yet unequivocally the most damaging to your operation when not taken into consideration. Fairness, firmness and the ability to deal with employees with individual equality are just some of the topics to be discussed and explored.
During this interactive course, you will approach problems from a variety of angles and solve them with efficiency and effectiveness from both a singular supervisory role and a board of review approach. You will solve problems of management, leadership and ethics while gaining confidence in your decisions and actions.
Your instructors are sergeants, lieutenants, captains and high-ranking retired military personnel. We have real world leadership experience from large to small scale operations, during normal and highly critical incidents. This is not some textbook theoretical course, we are living what we teach.
